A pod of six to nine orcas was captured on video hunting sea lions and navigating ocean waters off of Palos Verdes on Tuesday afternoon. :0

I have seen Orcas once before back in 2001 while sailing back from Santa Cruz Island. They were near Anacapa Island. This time they are hanging out right where I go day sailing.

Were they navigating with paper charts, or electronics? Or were they just using iPhones?

They were led by the ghosts of Orky and Corky, the unfortunate stars of Marineland until the Palos Verdes park was closed, the Orcas moved to San Diego and Corky was renamed Shamu.

They must haunt the area.:0
