Here's a bit of fun

Here's a bit of fun. Taken at 39.66N/139.46W (~1,070 miles west of San Francisco). Sailing close-hauled into the waves and wind, doing 2-4 knots under double-reefed main sail and just a scrap of jib to provide some balance. Seas are estimated in the 10-15 foot range, wind 30-40 knots, and had been building for 2 days. It was a little sloppy on this day. The following day brought greater height to the waves, but also much more uniformity. Conditions began abating on day 3.
