Redo portside interior? 1982 Ericson 38

Yes, asked before...
Now empty from battery box under 1/4 berth to forward head bulkhead.
Any ideas ? Need input.
Don't need chart table, or closing slides to 1/4 berth.
Should I retain big table?
Have small one on starboard.
Christian mentioned put a chair in place of chart table area? Facing midship or fore & aft? Send some ideas and sketches or pictures. Hasn't anyone changed it their cabin?

I do like Christian's chair idea a lot. I'd face it amidship with ability for side to side swivel. Alas, there's not enough room in my E29 for the chair I would want: high back recliner with cup holder in the arm. Built-in heater/vibrator would be nice too.
