OT: Mercury OB impeller and service manual sources ?

This past weekend our 6 hp Mercury started acting as if the impeller might be shot. After half an hour I concluded that it was just something blocking the water intake, but in the process I realized that I really wanted to have a spare impeller and a manual that would show more than "have your dealer do everything".

So where should I start looking for such spare parts and manuals ?

WM sold us the outboard but later they told us that they don't service ... so much for WM.

Impeller Replacement

Sven- Just go back into WM and get the impeller kit for your Merc 6hp. To change the impeller is very much an easy job. WM should have the kit on the shelf or get it to you quickly part#7890064 . Your manual should walk you through the installation. Rob Hessenius
