have a universal 25 with 200 hours on it. At 150 already needed a new transmission (universal said it was not gaurenteed because it was over a year old.it was about a 18 Mths.!) Anyway the other week I noticed the oil pressure was all the way to the high end. Ran it home no trouble. 4 hours. put a guage on it & it was at 75 LBS. does anyone know what it should be? don't want to tear engine down for this if too much pressure. Think I'd let it blow & get a Yanmar!!

Reflections,
75 psi sounds too high. I never see more than 55 psi on our M25 when cold at high rpm. That is with a new Oil Pressure Relief Valve installed due to low pressure caused by a worn internal spring. You might think about changing yours. Cheap. Cost about $15 + S&H from Kubota PN 15261-36070. Keller Brothers Motor Co. in Labanon, PA got mine.
