Anyone rebedding deck hardware on a boat with an internal frp liner will find this interesting.
On our prior boat with just that sort of liner, I drilled a 1" hole into the liner with a hole saw type drill so that I could back up the cabin top hardware with a ss fender washer. When done I sourced some press-in plugs at the hardware store and painted them to match the interior liner gel coat color.
