Have a question about my propane sniffer; When i first turn it on it beeps like there is an alarm, the light is red, and it keeps the solenoid off. After about 15 seconds the beeping slows, then stops. After that I press the reset button the light turns green and the solenoid opens and propane flows to the stove, like everything is fine. It did this when I bought the boat and the PO told me it was not normal and just due to a bad solenoid valve, but that appears to function fine (opens / closes)..?
Does anyone know it this is a problem or what it means? I cannot find any documentation on this unit...
