We are just back from our annual cruise down the river. Here is the view while anchored in the huge "liberty ship moth-ball fleet basin" behind Tongue Point. This is just east of Astoria Oregon. (the moth-ball fleet is long gone.) The view astern sometimes includes a bald eagle or two or one of the deer living on the marshy islands.
