Kiting?

When boredom strikes and the fish aren't biting I think about flying a kite while sailing. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for jogging my memory of this video. Its a good one. Looks like close reaching would be best for this activity.

I had my son and 8 year old grandson on our E30+, sailing nicely in a 5 - 7 knot breeze, and my son decided to try to fly a normal kite. It was very cool, rising high up into the sky as we sailed along. My grandson took over with the kite and had a great time, and then we put him on the helm of the sailboat, where he also had lots of fun. A good day all-round!
