Keeping Sealant - Prolonging its freshness

About two months ago, I hauled my boat out and re-caulked all the thru-hull mushrooms and replaced the ballvalves with proper seacocks.
I bought a big tube of 3M fast cure 3200, knowing it would be more than I needed, but the smaller tubes wouldn't be enough....and I hate to waste anything!
I also bought a couple of large syringes. They're right next to the caulking and epoxy at my favorite chandlery. When my job was done, I filled those syringes (just pumped them full with the caulking gun) ,capped them, labeled them with a marker, and put them into my refrigerator (emphasis on my...dont use the wifes fridge, or there'll be hell to pay)
I just used some, and the 3200 is as fresh as when it was sealed in the original tube...and now, its time for an IPA...right next to the caulk. :egrin:
