For Christmas, my wife made a sock for our furler jib. Our furler jib does not have the sunbrella edging sewn to it and so this should work. The sock has velcro edges and grommets and is hoisted up by using the original jib halyard. Though the pics don't show, I also included a "backup" leader line to the original halyard and the leader then was wrapped around the sock for added tightness and security.
