I'm not in Willsboro today

I had some business at home yesterday so I left Willsboro Sunday and have missed all of the excitement. I've been sailing out of Willsboro on Lk Champlain for the past 36 seasons and this is the biggest thing to happen in town in that time.

The key is in the ignition switch so I hope the boat is still there when I return Thursday. The stories and the weather should improve by then.

In case you haven't noticed, Willsboro is where the escaped murderers have been spotted. It's a small town agricultural town on the Lake, about 30 miles from the prison. I have a lot of friends there and hope all are safe.

Tom, looks like a nice area up there. Wonder if those escapees know how to sail?

Good luck to LE finding them.

As a full time North Country resident, not just summer folk :), this escape was well planned. I doubt that these guys popped out of the man hole in the middle of the street and didn't have someone waiting to whisk them away. They are long gone. You "out of towners" can rest easy.
