ice prevention in slip

I am wintering in a private slip and expecting the the creek will ice in.
1/4inch to 2" ice is typical here (Annapolis area - we used to get up to 6" but that was before climate change set in).

I'm considering putting in a device to keep the ice from around the boat.

Seem to be three options on the market:

Ice Eater
Kasco
Tylor Made

I'm going with 3/4hp.
Prices seem to be about the same.

Anyone have experience good or bad or observations that would help with a choice ?

thanks
