Hanging zinc grouper

I was given a brand new zinc grouper when a fellow club member sold his boat. The recommended attachment points are shaft or engine block, both are rather inconvenient locations. I do not recall seeing grounding wire on the backstay backing plate. Does anyone know if the shrouds or any other hardware are attached to a common grounding plate?

None of the standing rigging was grounded/bonded by the factory. All the stainless wires and aluminum spars end up ultimately connected to the fiberglass hull, deck, and/or TAFG.
