I have a friend who is in the market for a new VHF radio. More specifically he is looking for a radio that has a remote handheld like the Icom and Standard radios, but is interested in the wireless version of this set up. To help in his search he is looking for a site that reviews electronic gear and VHF radios in particular and asked me if I knew of any sites About the only site I could think of is Practical Sailor, but I think you have to be a member to access their reviews. I told him if anyone knew of a site, or sites, they would be on this list and that I would post the question to the list
So, anybody know of any sites that give real reviews of gear and are not just delivering a sales pitch?
