Saw this report and an interview on CBS This Morning. I thought their report said he swam 16 miles, but 27!

Wow! Either way, amazing story.

Also just on our local news tonight a kayaker has been missing near Gulf Shores, AL since Saturday. He went out in the Gulf with no PFD. They found his kayak 30 miles west of Mobile today. No sign of him.

No PFD. I sail solo all the time. My PFD is always on. Still a amazing story of endurance nothing short of a miracle, but come on people. Especially solo boaters.

Amazing story, but Christian deserves extra credit for his wry, Onion-like hed and dek. Very funny!
