Ericson32-3 cutlass bearing.

I recently had to replace the cutlass bearing in my Ericson32-3 and our Yard Manager came up with an ingenious way to install. Rather then drop the rudder for shaft removal, he removed a few hoses and lifted the engine high enough to slide the shaft under the engine and out of the strut. Pressed out the old bearing and pressed in the new. Total labor was 3hrs. plus the haul out fee. I also replaced my 14yr. old PSS shaft seal. Just thought I would pass this on as it might help somone with the same problem. Boat now runs smoother than it did new. Dan Callen Ericson 32-3 Andiamo
