Ericson 38 Rudder dimensions

Anybody know the dimensions of the stock E38/381 rudder? I need to know the square footage (should've measured when hauled out).

I've called Foss on the off chance they have the data on record.

My rudder is fine, this relates to self-steering decisions.

I had Foss make me a new rudder in September 2020. My rudder post was bent. Here is the drawing. The rudder fit perfect.

Haha..... yeah I remember dealing with Don. Very nice guy, but like you mentioned, he's very excited about making rudders still.

Are you changing to a different self steering vane? We just put a Monitor on our E38 back in October and have been very pleased with the performance.
