Our well founded and maintained Ericson 38-200 is for sale in Milford CT. Heart & Sole is ready for extensive cruising--upgrades include new fixed ports, hatch gaskets, refinished cabin sole, new head and shower. Extensive equipment including heat & a/c, radar, fridge/freezer, 2 anchor roller w/ primary 35# cqr with 200' of chain, s.s. dingy davits, outboard hoist and mount. Sails and cushions always dry stored, inspected and in good condition. Spectra halyards, engine and winches regularly serviced. lots of spare parts!

Answer regarding type of keel

Heart & Sole has a Winged keel which was the standard keel Ericson utilized. We have been quite happy with its performance. Its draft allows us into anchorages that we otherwise couldn't enjoy.

 

[Blue Chip]

BLUE CHIP also has a winged keel, and I think (2c) it acts as a sort of "flopper stopper" when the boat is anchored. Just a thought.
