Three good choices...

Generally speaking...
There's the 60's version, the Mk 1.
The 70's brought an all new design, the Mk 2.
The 80's saw a whole new redesign, the Mk 3.

I did a very quick search here and one the web for photos.

Not a homely one in the lot!
:)

I've always preferred the look of the stern of the 35-3 over the 35-2. Something about it looks more "classic" to me.

If I could afford to move up, I think I would go to the 35-3 or a 38...unless I could afford a Pacific Seacraft cutter or ketch...

From a performance standpoint, the speed of each boat increase with each new model. The Mk1(of Alberg design) was definitely more of a cruising boat. The MKII(Bruce King) was more of a racer-cruiser that is still successful matched up against newer designs. The MKIII(Bruce King) is the most modern of the three designs with a huge interior layout(for a 35) and a very fast under-body that goes to weather as good as any R/C boat.

Yes, but the E35II's derriere features an excellent wide aspect billboard for CinemaScope graphics. :egrin:
