Emergency Tiller

WE just purchased an 87 32 and it has no emergency tiller. Does anyone 1) have one for sale; 2) know where to get one; 3) know if any parts lefty from Pacific Seacraft that I might get one through. Thanks

Check eBay (the eBay motors section) and search for Ericson--some handmade wooden tillers are always for sale.

If the emergency tiller is anything like the setup on my E38 it would be very simple to make. Two pieces of aluminum pipe, a large section, slotted on one end to side into the rudder stock over the quadrant bolt with two 1" or so holes drilled in the other end to pass a section of 1" pipe through. Thats it. Measure what you need and order it from a local supplier or McMaster. RT
