Hi All, I have an E35. Last weekend our gooseneck broke. Do any of you
know where to get a replacement or parts? Our E35 is a 1981 model
Thanks in advance!

I have a 35-3(1985). Yours is a 35-2. Mine has Kenyon spars and I get parts at Rigrite. Check out the link to see if these look familiar. They also sell other spar parts if it is not a Kenyon.

Mine is one of these but I forget which. My gooseneck also broke for the previous owner. He had it welded up and the welds are much bigger than the standard. You may want to think about going this route as this failure is common.

Sliding or fixed?

IIRC,
Some of the 35-2's had a sliding gooseneck, which was not a great idea (these are more suited to smaller boats)-if you did, this would be a good time to upgrade to a fixed one-this way you know where the boom should be and how the main should be cut, and have a more robust attachment (less likely to fail in the event of an accidental gybe).....:)

It always helps to post a picture of the part/problem. Ericsons were sometimes built with a grab bag approach.
