Does anyone have information on finding a replacement boom to mast fitting for my E-27 (picture attached)
The end has sheered off where it connects to the mast.file://localhost/Users/tomsweetser/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Masters/2012/08/01/20120801-190058/IMG_2637.JPG

Hi Avie - can't see your picture, but the metal shop at Svensden's boat yard in Alameda solved my broken gooseneck brilliantly and not too expensively. As I said above, when I was hunting in June there was a Kenyon gooseneck fitting for sale at Boaters Resale Shop in Texas - listed as "steel and aluminium gooseneck". It was for a smaller boom section than mine - don't know if it's still there. But an old one would still have the original weak point, of course...

E27 Boom to Mast Connection

Thanks SarahL
It turns out that a famous Hydroplane racer (Unknown to me at the time) just a few slips over noticed my problem and offered to weld up the broken connection in his shop.
It cost me a bottle of wine. We sail for Gig Harbor in the morning.
