I think you're going to have to drive much further. I'd be more worried about passing through Buffalo. Hasn't there been a recent advertisement of a 25? And on a trailer no less.

The ad was in Albany, I'm still not sure about border crossing yet and what's involved...

It's not often that you find an Ericson 25 in what appears to be in pretty good condition with what appears to be a pretty good trailer at what is certainly a good price for the two of them. The owner trailered the boat from Colorado to New York not that long ago. It seems this trailer is not your average rusting mess.

I will have to pay tax on the boat and import the trailer as a vehicle... standard procedure but it costs $$$
