Dodger & Bimini

I am scheduled to meet with a canvas man next week to design a new dodger and bimini for my E27. She has Wheel steering with the traveler in front of the helm . So ,for this reason the helm will be left uncovered and that is OK with me . My thoughts(at the present) are to make the dodger and bimini low enough to be able to see over.Any input ,and especially photos would be appreciated.Will getting on deck be a problem?
