There has been discussion on the Sailnet list on leading lines aft for single handing. The following are some poor pictures showing how I modified my E-25 by adding Garhauer mast base blocks, deck organizers and rope clutches, along with new halyards, to lead my lines aft. I have led the main halyard, jiffy reefing line and boom vang aft on the port side. On the starboard side I have the jib halyard and swing keel. For the swing keel I added two double blocks between the deck organizer and the clutch, with the aft set mounted in place. The forward double block is free to travel. It is easy to raise an lower the keel without a winch.
