Cutless Bearing E 38

Does anybody know the cutless bearing size for an e 38 and is there anything I should know when replacing it. I am going to pull the boat next week for a coat of paint and would like to have a cutless bearing on hand as I don't know if it has ever been replaced.

Mine was a 1" ID x 1 1/4" OD x 4" Trellex-Morse model "Blackfish".

West Marine carries it...... about $80

Mine was the same ID and OD but I could not get one long enough so I used 2 and sawed off the excess.

I installed the same 1" ID x 1 1/4" OD x 4" "Blackfish" on my 1986 32.
