The weather report looks good so far. The Newport to Ensenada race is on, so moorings should be available - looks like a perfect spring weekend for a trip to the Isthmus...

I'm going to try to snag a slip in Fourth of July Cove... anybody else going over?

Yeah, I'll probably head for the Isthmus on Friday and return late Saturday.

Great, we'll keep an eye out for you. We'll be going from Cabrillo Marina on Friday morning, unless the weather looks like it's going to kick up, in which case we'll leave late Thursday.

Hope to snag a spot in 4th of July cove.

Have fun over there Gentlemen. Here's a photo I shot from my trip back from Seattle Tuesday evening. Got a great view of all eight of our off shore islands! Looks like a perfect weekend forecast. Unfortunately duty calls ashore for me.
