The May '10 Latitude 38 issue, pp 104 - 107, has a marvelous cruising article by long-time Olson 34 sailors Lina and Bruce Nesbit.
I believe that you can also read it in the Lat. 38 on-line edition referenced above.
And, they make it clear that they cruise and race an Ericson-built Olson 34.
Anyhow, it is great to see how to cover a lot of distance and still have a scenic port to visit almost every night.
(It's been only a few years since I was crew on a rapid delivery trip from SD to SF and saw very little of that half of the state! Darn!)
