Blue Tooth Audio from the Cockpit

Thought I would share a great gadget....

I picked up a BlueBridge mini jack Rx. The device enables me to stream music from my blue tooth enabled phone to the stereo receiver on the boat.

I was tired of running back and forth to turn up/down the music while in the cockpit (stereo is mounted SB, bookshelf area). Did not want to spend $400+ to install a new stereo with wired remote to the cockpit. Wanted to be able to listen the music/playlists/podcasts I have on my phone.

This is a battery powered receiver with a 1/8 stereo plug that can be connected via the 1/8 plug or RCA connectors to a stereo or powered speaker. It charges from a mini USB connector and lasts about 8 hours.

I'm not connected with the manufacturer. Just though I'd share a $50 solution.

Thanks for the tip. I was playing music on my blackberry connected to the AUX on my stereo and had the same issues as you. I am probably going to get one!
