They used to sell rebuilt kits, IIRC. I have not checked on this for many years. The pumps seem to have a very long life.

The new ones are usually quieter than old ones, and generally not that expensive. You might be happier with a new one.

The current version of our two factory pumps seems to be this model. We have one dating from 1988 and one that I replaced over ten years ago. I could have tried to rebuild it, but chickened out.
Not inexpensive, but we find them totally dependable and this type of pump cannot syphon back.

Thanks Loren, Since Ericson used the same pump for the Bilge and the Shower sump I switched the the shower sump to the Bilge. I'm replacing the sump with a cheaper all in one, since it isn't used often. Do you know if the old style Jabsco is repairable? Also, do know the model number of the old unit? Joe

I believe that this is the "old" model, but do not know if kits are available. You might want to ask Defender or just message Jabsco.
