Adding more switches for your buddies to flip is going to be worse than a simple single switch. Consider what Tom suggested and put an additional ON/OFF between the 1/2/BOTH and the start battery, and leave it in the OFF position. I would install this as a hidden "service switch" so that only you know where to access it. Out of sight out of mind. This way if they flipped the 1/2/BOTH to bank #2 all power would go OFF and you'd know they messed with it.. If they flipped it to BOTH, no worries, the start battery is still isolated by the hidden "service switch"...
