I recently booked our motel and air fares. We will be there Thursday am (14th) and leave Sunday pm (17th). Location is Jack London Square, Oakland, CA.
We will be at the Best Western Inn at the Square, but there are other great motels (including several Marriotts) just up town from us.
(If anyone wants to do a social hour or a sail on San Francisco Bay, we will chip in for the drinks and snacks.....) Saturday or Sunday would be great for socializing and sight seeing, as we plan to spend Thursday and Friday at the show all day.
Every year more NW sailors go there, and I note that air fares have dropped slightly from last year. We will be flying into OAK.
I mention all this because it is the closest "all sailing" show for us.
