The boat we purchased includes a nissan 8HP that is from the late 90's. I have a early 80's evenrude that runs great. I like evenrude plus the lower weight of the 6 HP, but 15 years less age is attractive. How do the Nissan engines do from a reliability perspective. I know Nissan does great on cars, but OB's are another story. Any input would be appreciated. By the way, if someone wants a really good deal on the 8HP, all you need to do is really flame it in your responses.
