That's a great spot. Doesn't interfere with anything I can see and easy to grab when needed. The one I have in the galley is located just aft of the stove on the base cabinet. it interferes with accessing the cabinet below the sink, but should be easy to access for a galley or engine compartment fire. There doesn't seem to be a huge difference between the 35-3 and 38 until you start looking at little details like this.
