87 E- 38-200 Sole Removal Question

are Ericson soles glued down?

I own an Ericson 38 200, moored in Marina Del Rey, and am trying to replace the shower bilge pump hose.

nfortunately the original hose (I assume it original) has deteriorated and when I try to pull on it it disintegrates in my hand.

I’m trying to lift the floor / sole but it appears to be glued down. Or maybe just a very tight fit.

There are many threads here about the 80's Ericson's and their soles. While some were not glued as well as screwed down, the majority of owners report that they were indeed glued. Given that the adhesive of choice for everywhere else on our '88 boat was 5200, that might be the Very Determined Adhesive product holding those sole sections. Not fun to deal with.
If you follow the Master Thread link in reply 9, in this thread, you will find a lot of information.
