Looking to purchase, is this a bolt on keel or encapsulated? What trouble spots should I look for?

Encapsulated lead ballast.
Good sailing boat from a design era when offshore boats had to cruise-worthy for a small family and also win overnight ocean races.
Several other owners here can comment and/or point to threads about "what to look for" when evaluating this model.
