Wefco

Some have indicated they used the WEFCO replacement rub rail and track. The Wefco track is a hard rubber vs the rigid vinyl/plastic of the OEM product. Over time, how has the Wefco track held up? Is it stable, any tendency to sag, or other problems?

well it's done

Replaced the rub rail all the way around. Ground out the old wood strip and put new white oak beneath it. After a buff, glaze, and wax she looks like a million bucks. DSC01312 (1024x768).jpgDSC01310 (1024x768).jpgView attachment 10604damage (1280x721).jpg

available

I have the rigid vinyl original available. There is a 35' section and a 12' section. It's yours free for the asking. You just need to figure out how to get it.

Dave,
That sure looks nice...
:egrin:

I know that it can take some real time and money to restore a classic, but I figure it would take well north of 170K to replicate a boat like that at today's new boat prices.

Fair winds,

Loren
