35-3 mast support repair

My metal mast support has dropped/bent about 1/4”. So the fiberglass under is starting to bulge. I am not sure if it will or can continue to bend. Does anyone have experience with this? Does anyone have photo of what they have done to repair this?? Thanks,Bill

I did this on our boat when we got it many years ago. A previous owner had done something funky with the mast step (trying to induce extra mast rake I think) that had concentrated loads on the aft portion of the support. It's a "relatively easy" DIY job, but does require the mast to be removed to do it.

Everything is still rock solid there now.
