Cam cleats are wearing out and I am looking at replacing. Looking for any ideas that might be out there.

Here is a pic from my son's former boat, an PS/E-333, showing the cam cleat brought out to the edge of the coach top. I had the same setup on my E-34, but changed out the cam cleats for Spinlock PXR cam cleats which are easier for the admiral to release under load.

I have the same Ronstan cams on the traveler. Pretty clumsy and hard for people to use. I'll change them eventually, too.

But if the cam springs are disengaged, meaning the cams don't always do their job, there is a workaround fix for that.
