Hey everyone,
If you're looking for a cheaper, sound boat with a lot of potential, I'm selling mine. Here's a copy of the ad I placed on the local classifieds:
1976 Ericson 29. Solid, overbuilt hull. Pretty boat with its classic lines. Inboard and most of interior was removed due to rain water damage but is now clean and useable. Could be refurnished or left as is for racing or more cabin space/simplicity. Cabin is very roomy. 6' 1" head room. Wheel steering. No electronics included but standing and running rigging in useable condition. Full set of sails included and in good condition. Bottom was just painted in March ('08). Registration current. Ready to be sailed away. Boat is located at our dock on the Patuxent River near Solomon's.
