zinc

Hello to all, Does anyone out there know if the Universal M-12 (10hp) has an engine zinc. I've looked all over, the only one I came up with was the one for the heat exchanger. Best, Frank E28

I recently read about another boat that had a zinc in the heat echanger. It was at or part of the drain plug. Does anyone know if a 1981 Ericson 38 has a zinc in it's heat exchanger? It would save me some time and effort of going and looking. Thanks.

Anyone have any ideas why my shaft zinc (bullet type) always seems to loosen up after a few trips. WE tighten the heck out of those little screws with the an allen wrench each and every time.. do you think its vibration, though I don't feel it at the helm? Steve E-35-3:confused:
