Perko Strainer Gasket - Rubber or Cork?
On my '84 E-28 I have a Perko raw water strainer, model 493. I'm replacing the gaskets. The gaskets I'm removing are cork. Checked the Perko catalog. They indicate use ONLY cork gaskets on "older style" strainers and use ONLY rubber gaskets on "newer style" strainers. However, they don't tell...- jreddington
