diesel tank

How hard is this one? I want to thoroughly clean out the tank as I am getting sludge in my primary filter. Other option is to have someone like Petroscrub come and clean it but cost is not yet known. Assuming the tank is emptied how hard is it to physically get it out of the boat? Thanks...
