I have a 5432 Universal. Original prop. I usually ran 1900-2100 RPM.

I have a 2 blade prop from my E38. Replaced it this last summer with a feathering prop. My rudder broke off offshore 10 years ago.

Seth, I just ran across this post. I am the current owner of Cantata. She has wandered up north to Astoria, Or. Current rating of 147. Gifford’s paperwork has survived and I have the PHRF ratings of 119 from back then. Fun to hear about it’s history. Tom

My rudder broke on my 1981 Ericson 38. Original rudder had been modified at some point though the cause had to do with corrosion internally at the end of the post. (Might have been the overpowered reach I was on as well)

Finco Fab has a rudder on the shelf....

It is Cantata. It would be great to track any original information, documentation let alone who made the rudder.

Last week I was racing in the Oregon Offshore and my rudder snapped off leaving about 12" in the water. We got the boat to Westport,Wa. where it now sits. I've just pulled what's left of the rudder and now need a replacement. Any comments or information would be appreciated. Any...
