    Bilge pump switch

Thanks for the tips. I took the float switch out, cleaned it off, and played with it a bit... it may be that there is some gunk inside. It is working now but, the problem is certainly the float switch itself. Time for a new one.

E29 owners - Where is your propane tank?

Here is a photo of the propane tank locker on my e29. The cover makes a nice seat/table.

    Bilge pump switch

I checked on my boat today, e29 (1972), and had a problem with my bilge pump switch. It has an "auto" setting for the float switch, off, and "manual". It is always left on auto, but today, after I switched it to manual to get rid of some water, when I set it back to auto, the pump came on...

E29 owners - Where is your propane tank?

I have the same set up on my e29 (1972). The storage box makes a great seat/table and the propane system works well.

    Throttle is slipping

The throttle on my e-29 (1972) is slipping. When I power up over 2000 rpm, it will slip back and settle at around 2000 rpm. Is this a simple adjustment? Have not had the boat very long and I am not sure where the adjustment should be made. Engine is a Universal M3-20. Is the adjustment on...

    convert tiller to wheel ??

Hello, I just purchased a 1972 e29 with a tiller. I always envisioned myself standing at the transom, behind the wheel with engine controls close at hand, but... this boat came on the market and it was the right one for us. This is my first boat and when I bring this same issue of wheel vs...

    Bilge Flow - e29

Thanks, This is my first boat and I am new to sailing. It seemed that there should be drainage from the bow, back to the bilge pump area under the companionway but I couldn't see any holes while I was cleaning out the storage areas and the bilges. Looks like I will need to drill a few. Paul.

    Bilge Flow - e29

On my recently purchased e-29 (1972 hull 204) there are two bilge access hatches in the main salon ( center of floor and near stairs), and one in the hanging locker across from the head. From bow to stern, the flow of water is as follows. The anchor locker flows into the forward storage area...

    Damaged Pulpit - E-29

Thanks Glenn, I just spoke with Dave at Railfitters and I was quoted $500 for a new pulpit for the e-29 which is a simpler design then the "universal rail" at $770 which fits the e 28, 30,32, 35 and 38. http://www.railmakers.com/yachts/ericson/ericson-universal-bow.htm $200 for shipping to BC...

    Damaged Pulpit - E-29

Hi, I have a damaged pulpit on an E-29 (1972). The pulpit is bent on one side and I am not sure if it can be repaired, I am looking into it with a local machine shop. My question is, would this be a custom order to replace or is it a stock item still in production? If custom, any thoughts...
