    1987 E-32 "Midwatch" in Seattle

Single handing a 32-3 She looks like a nice boat! I single hand our 32-3 regularly. I see that Midwatch already has self tailing winches on the cabin top, I had to add those. These will make things easier. I also changed out the original rope clutches with new lewmars, this makes releasing...

    Suggestion for taping spreader boots

Spreader boots I've been using the boots that Guy recomended for a few years now. Easy to install, protect the sail and look good. No issues, and did I mention easy to install. I admit when I installed them i didn't think about the water being able to drain, but now that you mention it......

    Acqua Drive

Aqua Drive I have a buddy that installed one during a new engine installation and it works great and is very smooth. The down side is everything Loren said. Need space, need a thrust plate etc. With the engine out this was still a bunch of work for my friend. The result is a great engine...

    Which Winch??

Raising the main The Tides system is great. Have used it on a friends boat. The original blocks and turning blocks on the our boat were part of the issue on a hard to raise main. The orignial blocks are not ball bearing blocks so I replaced all of the blocks at the base of the mast and the...

E32-3 Rig Spinnaker Halyard in port or stbd mast sheave

Another - "I don't think it matters" On our 32-3 I've always used the port side halyard for my chute because......well for some reason that's where I ran the halyard. Have not had any issues flying our asymetrical spinnaker from there regardless of which side of Mindscape the sail is flying on.

New Kitecam Video of Ericson 32-200

Very Cool! What kind of kite and camera are you using? I've got a flexifoil kite but that doesn't seem like it would work for taking video. How much (if any) control do you have have the camera and/or the kite? Thanks for posting - very cool.

Anyone watching the Concordia get salvaged?

Everynow and then I'm checking on it every now and again - it's an amazing engineering feat. It is a bit like watching paint dry, but the forces involved are just crazy, wouldn’t want an unexpected inertia!

    Mount Laptop for Nav Station

iPad in the cockpit? So I'm playing with this iPad in the cockpit thing. Lots of possibilities, but how do you see anything in the sun? The screen is just not visible in the sun. Is it just me or does everyone have this issue?
