    Campbell-Sailer 3 blade prop for E34-2.

I changed from a 15" x 11" two blade Flexofold to a 13" x 8" three blade Campbell Sailer for one season on my 34-2 with an M25XP. Nice quality props and excellent service from Flexofold as well as from West by North. Kelsey at North by West had advised the 13 x 8 for my 34-2 perhaps with...

    Show me your interior cushions!

Another data point Sunbrella with naugahyde (sp?) backing and snaps that never seem to need snapping. Had a non-marine person make them up using the old ones as the pattern. Not perfect but half the price of the marine upholsterer's estimate. Blue piping on the front of the seat bottom...

    CNG range

Hello Fellow Vikings, Would anybody be interested in a 2 burner CNG range with oven, manufactured by Gas Systems International? I believe it would have been the original range installed by Ericson on our 1987 E34. It is fully operational, and in very good cosmetic condition. Offered for...

    E34 water leak

Feel, look, smell, listen... Sure I would feel around the water heater but also investigate the lowest spot in the forward / inboard corner of the sail locker that you can get to (or shine a light on) because that is where a potential leak is going to accumulate a bit. In my locker there is a...

    E34 water leak

Water heater leak Some years ago, I had some ongoing mild moisture problems in the area you are describing for a few months. No water visible on the cabin sole, just some varnish deterioration and the veneer inboard of the starboard reefer was darkening. You could see some dampness in the...

    E34 water leak

Something else to check I have the same boat. When my water heater (located in the starboard sail locker) rusted a hole and was leaking, the water worked its way to the same place you are describing. So consider broadening your search. Of course, the fridge may be the culprit in your case...

    Reefing System E34

Thanks Derek. I would agree on the first reef at around 15 knots apparent upwind. Usually I have a 150 up front, so will probably roll in 1/4 or so first, then reef the main after that. Second reef in the main plus more of the genoa in (or preferably the 110 jib) over 20 knots. Rough...

    Reefing System E34

Hi Derek congrats on the new boat and welcome to the forum. Sounds like the same setup as my 34. Here are some pics I could find on my computer at work, hope it helps. I think you have it figured correctly BTW- you have to find the right point on the boom to make your slab reefing system...
