My son and I have launched our 32-2 and we found that the used propellor we bought from Craigslist was pitched way too little for the vintage 1964 gas Atomic 4 - there are no numbers on it. Can anybody clue us into what might be a better fit?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

We are finally ready to launch a 32-2 after years of refitting but just noticed that the piece of stainless hardware that connects the bow tang to the roller furling assembly is missing. Does anyone have a photo of this assembly? We can fabricate a part but need to know the length.
Thanks!

Thanks for the great advice...
I will go ahead and stick with the standpipe system that I welded up... it is nice to know we are headed in the best direction!

I would think this has been covered before on this forum. Just hoping someone might be able to point us there, specifically for this hull? Still have the gas A4.
I replicated the original standpipe system out of steel but am wondering now if there is a better set-up before I re-install this...
Thanks Paul,
The primary reasons for a 2 blade for us is #1, that is what was on the boat initially, and #2 a 2 blade is cheaper - that is the one for us for now. Just trying to get a push out from a mooring and back.... nothing too serious here!
Thanks for your thoughts!

Thank you very much for such a quick reply, but I think we need a prop with a little less bite. I recall hearing these motors like to run higher on the tach so that they don't load up, and show a little more h.p. too. Thanks anyways. I really appreciate you thinking of us...

My son and I are going to get his '75 32-2 on the water this summer that we have been working on for too many years. He bought it for $1.00 on Craigslist when he was 11 - he is 18 now! The boat sank in a storm and had a dozen or so holes below the water line... all are fixed now. The propellor...
Thanks for the tips. I think I we'll go with the two part poly. More $, but sounds more durable.
Sorry for the delay in responding. For some reason we were dropped from this blog site and I could not seem to log in. We just re-registered - hence the delay.
According to the salvage papers...
Thank you for your responses! - I think we have it figured out.
Thanks for all of your replies. I didn't mean to not answer them.... something happened to our account so I re-registered and am now able to post again.
Our ballast is nicely formed lead that as some of you said, must have been...
