    Boat Name Location

Stern Stern is by far the easiest/cheapest. here is what I did to my E27: back into slip, temporarily remove stern ladder, and voila! Ladder blocks some but still legible. I recently sold her but plan on doing same to new boat. tom

    Ericson 35 ?

Ya if I were to do this I would make a low offer and consider it a project. The engine is a Westerbeke. probably similar to Universal. aren't a lot of these name brand engines just a marinized Kubota? tom

    Ericson 35 ?

Report back after viewing Saturday: Report back after viewing Saturday: I love that boat! Spent quite a bit of time on it Saturday, after visiting several others it just plain felt good if you know what I mean -- very pleasing to the senses and very comfortable. I was pleased to find no...

    Ericson 35 ?

I just sold my Ericson 27. It wasn't even listed for sale, but a guy came by and bought it anyway. I figured it must be meant to be? I really liked that boat but my wife did not, she thought it was too small. Going this weekend to look at an Ericson 35 (older version) that claims it has been...

    Dodger window covers

I have them, and recommend them. Mainly for preventing sun damage (yellowing if you've seen windows that don't have them) so not so important in PNW where you an I are as it would be in CA or FL. But still, I think it makes a big difference. My slip faces the sun most of the day. After 6 years...

My E27 Mast Has only 1 Halyard Winch

Thanks all, I appreciate both ideas. for this weekend I will try swapping halyards, while I start to work on finding/making a mounting base to eventually mount the second winch on the mast. I have never "tapped" holes before but I assume this is something I can find a tool for at the hardware...

My E27 Mast Has only 1 Halyard Winch

My E27 Mast Has only 1 Halyard Winch. Original 1977 equipment nothing led to cockpit. No Spinnaker. The 1 existing halyard winch is on the Port side of the mast, which in my case at least, is the Main halyard side. There is nothing but a cleat on the Starboard side for the headsail halyard...

    E35-2 boarding ladder

Poor Man's Boarding Ladder E27 I made my own out of an old CrisCraft ladder and some minor hardware: I just had to trim about an inch from the inside top piece and buy a couple used track fittings. The whole setup cost me about $50 bucks. Not pretty, but effective. The E27 already had/has a...
